BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR!
GREG MILLER

Greg is one of the best known, most respected whitetail authorities in
the nation! The popularity of his seminars make them standing room only,
must-see events. Be sure to catch Greg at the Classic! Here's what he
has to say: TAGGING
EARLY SEASON TROPHIES - It’s a fact that the early season
period can be one of the toughest times in which to try and ambush a
mature whitetail. But though it sometimes might appear otherwise, there
are some strategies that can prove effective for consistently taking
trophy bucks at this difficult time of year.
Right off the top, let me
say this: Achieving success during the early season often does entail
doing a good deal of homework, especially during the off-season period.
Things like post-season scouting, closely studying topo maps and aerial
photos and brainstorming with your hunting partners can dramatically
increase your chances for early season success.
But there also are some
strategies hunters can employ during the open season that can help put
the odds in their favor. One of these strategies has already received a
substantial amount of coverage in recent years. The other one hasn’t.
In fact, it’s received very little coverage at all. And that’s tragic,
as it can be a VERY effective strategy for taking trophy whitetails
during the early season period.
That’s all I’m gonna say
for now. If you want to get the straight scoop on what I consider to be
one of the most effective and overlooked early season strategies out
there, you’ll have to attend one of my upcoming seminars at the
Wisconsin Deer Classic, Feb. 26-28, 2010. See you there!
